Jericho and Bethlehem Day Tour

Early arrival to the Holy Land via Allenby Bridge. Please note that you must be at Allenby Bridge at 8 am the Jordan side. Our first stop will be Mount Temptation where you will ride the cable cars. The Mount of Temptation rises up out of the Judean Desert 3km northwestern of Jericho in the West Bank not far from the Dead Sea. At the foot of the mount palm trees and lush vegetation grow, and the yellow and orange-hued mountain slopes rise 360 meters above sea level. The Mount of Temptation (Jabel Quruntul or Mount Quarantania) is famed as the site where the devil tempted Jesus to forsake God.
Continue to have a view of the Mar Saba Monastery. In the afternoon, travel to Bethlehem. Visit the Church of the Nativity, the Grotto of the Nativity and the Chapel of Saint Jerome. The Church of the Nativity is the most important landmark in Bethlehem and marks the site where the nativity took place. It was in Bethlehem just over 2,000 years ago that Mary gave birth to baby Jesus. Today Bethlehem is a thriving city in the Palestinian Authority West Bank approximately 10 km south of Jerusalem and the Nativity Church is the city’s top attraction.
