From the outset, communication was clear, timely, and reassuring. When the February 2026 war began just as we were commencing our journey, Maria demonstrated extraordinary leadership. She kept us consistently informed, prioritised our safety at every stage, and worked tirelessly to adapt our itinerary so that we were still able to complete a significant portion of our pilgrimage despite rapidly changing and challenging circumstances. Our guide, Raed, was outstanding—his depth of historical knowledge and ability to bring each site to life added immense value and meaning to the experience. Our driver, Shweiky, was equally remarkable, showing constant kindness, patience, and consideration throughout. When Jordanian airspace reopened, Maria acted swiftly and efficiently, arranging our transfer to the Allenby Bridge border crossing, as well as seamless accommodation and onward travel in Amman. Every detail was handled with precision. From there, we were able to fly to Frankfurt and safely return home to Sydney. In what could have been an overwhelming and distressing situation, Laila Tours and Travel demonstrated adaptability, professionalism, and genuine care for their clients. Experience of a lifetime and safe The guide was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He was the best part of the trip! The tour was jam packed with fascinating and historic sites. Seeing the religious sites was an intense, palpable, and life-changing experience. The group had a few problems with the hotel, rooms weren’t ready, there was mold in one room, and some interesting stains on furniture. However, the issues were resolved by the hotel. I cannot stress enough how safe it is to travel in Jerusalem. If you have doubts, rest assured, it is absolutely safe. You must go! It is an experience of a lifetime!

Rich in history, and absolutely safe There is so much history, religion, and culture in Jerusalem! One day was not enough. The experience was powerful, intense, and palpable. Our guide, Raed Rofa was knowledgeable, a walking encyclopedia. He answered all of my group’s questions. I cannot stress how safe Jerusalem is. If you’ve been thinking about traveling there, but have doubts, I’m here to reassure you, it is completely safe. An experience of a lifetime that you shouldn’t miss!

Amazing guide, amazing experience We had Raed as our guide. He was so informative and knowledgeable! He was passionate about the history in a way that peaked my interest and curiosity. Young family’s Jerusalem adventure Highly recommend Raed, Ahmad and Maria who arranged a trip of a lifetime for our family. Overwhelmed & Impressed Coming in across the Allenby border from Jordan, Mr Raed and Mr Ahmad met my son and I and from the very beginning showed us the knowledge, hospitality and adventurous spirit we were searching for. We covered everything possible in our two short days in Jerusalem and Bethlehem with these outstanding gentlemen in relation to the Holy Land and its wonderful secrets and history. Excellent experience in Jerusalem Raed was an excellent guide. This was my 2nd trip to Jerusalem and I learned so much more from Raed. Initially, I was concerned about traveling to Jerusalem right now but felt completely safe crossing over the King Hussein/Allenby Bridge from Jordan. My husband and I received a warm welcome and had a wonderful day in Jerusalem visiting so many sights and learning so much. The experience was touching and exceptional.

One day in Jerusalem We visited Jerusalem for a day and it made me want to explore more of Israel. We booked our day tour with Laila Tours and Travel. We crossed the border from Jordan to Israel. As soon as we stepped out of the Israel Border, our tour guide, Raed immediately welcomed us. Together with our friendly driver, Ahmed, we drove to Mount Olives which has extensive view of Jerusalem. Raed’s explanation of Jerusalem from Mount Olives was great way for us to grasp all the important events that occurred there. Seeing the wailing wall, touching the rock where the cross of Jesus was, entering an enclosed space where the tomb of Jesus was, and witnessing the faith of so many individuals from different parts of the world, it made me realize how blessed I am to be standing in a place where Jesus once was. I hope someday I could go back and I would definitely book Raed and Ahmed to be my tour guide and driver. I could listen to Raed all day and learn so much from him not just about Jerusalem but also about the people there. Aside from Ahmed driving safely, he also made sure we arrived to our destination on scheduled time. Thank you Raed and Ahmed for an amazing experience.
