Itinerary

Day 1 :
Day 1: Arrival – Queen Alia International Airport – Reem Al Bawadi Dinner – Amman Overnight
Ahlan w Sahlan! Welcome to Jordan. Arrive via Queen Alia International Airport and meet with our airport representative to help with the VISA procedures. *Please keep an eye out for the airport representative, proceeding without him will result in paying VISA fees that are non-refundable* Proceed to luggage claim and continue to meet with your driver at the arrival hall. Our driver will be holding up a name sign to help you distinguish him. Afterward, transfer Reem Al Bawadi Restaurant for your first taste of Jordanian cuisine. The building is not only beautiful on the outside, but the inside provides a cozy atmosphere with big wooden tables and cushioned benches under the skylit dome. When the weather permits, you can also choose to sit outside in the gardens. In addition to having plenty of authentic Jordanian options on the menu, you can also order shisha. Day 2 :
Day 2: Amman – Mafraq Plateau Vineyard Tour – Beit Sitti Cooking and Dining– Amman Overnight
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Mafaraq. Today, you will experience a wine-tasting tour of the vineyards! Learn about the Terroir of Jordan, the history of winemaking, viticulture, food pairing, and more. Travel back in time to the largest vineyard in Mafraq Plateau, where a volcano once covered a fertile forest to create a magical basaltic terroir. In this half-day tour, you will experience this unique 100-hectare vineyards at the Basalt Desert of Jordan. As well as an unforgettable wine tasting all guided tour certified by JR Wine with lunch. In the evening, drive to Beit Sitti: Cooking and Dining located in Jabal Al Weibdeh. Experience a 4- course Arabic meal cooking session, then sit back and unwind with good food, the beats of the city, and the dazzling view of old Amman. Day 3 :
Day 3: Amman – Jerash with local guide– Amman City Tour with lunch– JR Wine Experience Dinner – Amman Overnight
After breakfast at your hotel, meet with your driver. You will roam around the city of Amman, the capital of Jordan, touring its sites. First, visit the Citadel with beautiful views over Amman City. It is an archeological site located on top of Jebel Al Qala’s at the center of downtown. This historic site comprises a 1700-meter wall that dates to the Bronze Age, the iconic Temple of Hercules, and the Umayyad Palace. Continue to the Roman Theatre, located in the heart of the city. This magnificently restored theatre is the most obvious and impressive remnant of Roman Philadelphia and is the highlight of Amman for most foreign visitors. The theatre itself is cut into the northern side of a hill and has a seating capacity of 6000. For a quick lunch, enjoy a delicious Jordanian falafel sandwich with tahini sauce, Persian cucumbers, and tomatoes. Falafel is plant-based, fresh, and crunchy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside local food. Then you will be transferred to Jerash to visit the world’s best-preserved Roman provincial city. Jerash lies on a plain surrounded by hilly wooded areas and fertile basins. Conquered by General Pompey in 63 BC, came under Roman rule and was one of the ten great Roman cities of the Decapolis League. Continue to enjoy a dinner at the JR Wine Experience for a set menu and wine from their classic label. Afterward, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight at Sulaf Hotel 4* or similar
Day 4 :
Day 4: Petra Visit with local guide – Lunch at Qantara Restaurant – Local Family Dinner – Petra Overnight
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and meet with your driver and transfer to the Petra Visitor Center. Today you will roam around Petra: a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A national treasure, it is the legacy of the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. Meet with your local guide and enter through the Siq and visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, Theater, Colonnaded Street, etc. Afterward, transfer to a local restaurant in Wadi Musa, Qantara Restaurant, where you will enjoy a lunch buffet. In the evening, meet with your driver and transfer to a local family’s home. Enjoy this unique visit where you will prepare Mansaf (traditional Jordanian cuisine) with the family, learn about each other’s cultures, and enjoy a delicious meal! Day 5 :
Day 5: Wadi Rum– 4-hour Jeep Tour with lunch – Wadi Rum Overnight
After breakfast at your hotel, check out and meet with your driver to transfer to the Wadi Rum. Once inhabited by the Nabataeans of prehistoric times, Wadi Rum allows you to get lost in large landscapes and horizon lines. The calmness of the desert is sure to calm your spirit and de-clutter your thoughts. Enjoy a 4-hour 4*4 Jeep tour of Wadi Rum, including a freshly prepared lunch. A jeep tour is the best way to discover many sites there. You will stop at each site giving you time to roam around and a chance to climb some of the beautiful naturally formed bridges in Wadi Rum. Afterward, transfer to your campsite for check-in, dinner, and overnight. Dinner at the campsite includes Bedouin Zarb. A traditional dish cooked underground with the local Bedouins of Wadi Rum. It is much like a barbeque and the method starts by digging a hole in the soft sand for cooking. Day 6 :
Day 6: Wadi Rum – Aqaba – Wine Tasting – Free Afternoon – Aqaba Overnight
After breakfast at the camp, check out and meet with your driver. Transfer to Aqaba. Aqaba is a resort city and a port city. The main attraction of Aqaba is, of course, its Red Sea coastline, and the beaches, diving, watersports, and coastal resorts, that come with that. Upon arrival at Aqaba enjoy wine tasting at the WINE MAKER located at the Marina Village. It is a 1 hour and 30-minute wine-tasting experience served with some cold cuts & cheese platters. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your leisure. Note that Aqaba has so many local restaurants to choose from, take your pick and enjoy! Day 7 :
Day 7: Aqaba – Transfer to Dead Sea– Dead Sea Overnight
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the Dead Sea. At 423 meters below sea level, the Dead Sea is officially the lowest place on Earth. The Dead Sea played a significant role during the rule of the Romans and ancient Greeks for trade and military purposes. Its waters are warm, soothing, and super salty– some ten times saltier than seawater, and rich in chloride salts of magnesium, sodium, potassium, bromine, and several others. Day 8 :
Day 8: Dead Sea – Queen Alia International Airport – Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, check-out, and transfer to the airport for departure. Keep in mind that you must be at the airport 3 hours prior to departure time. *Note that this day is subject to departure time. *Touring and site sightseeing are subject to timing and traffic.
