The Ultimate Holy Land And Dubai Experience

The perfect introduction to the Arabian experience: Holy Land and Dubai. We’ll arrive first in Tel Aviv and explore the Holy Land. The Nativity Church, Church of Holy Sepulcher, Yad Vashem, Mount of Temptations, and much more will all be a part of our part 1.  Then we’ll travel to Dubai to start our discovery of its beautiful city. One day we’ll tour Dubai City and the next day we’ll journey to Abu Dhabi for a Safari ride with a delicious barbecue dinner. Don’t miss out on this memorable experience!

Day 1 – Arrival in Israel 1

Today we’ll arrive to Ben Gurion, in Tel Aviv. We’ll be taken to our hotel in Jerusalem.

At the end of our day we have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2:  Nativity Church - Shepherds Fields - Via Dolorosa 2

Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll ride to Bethlehem to visit the Nativity Church and Shepherds Fields. The Old City is found around Manger Square and one of the highlights is the Church of the Nativity. This is one of the oldest churches in the world, and is built around a cave that is Jesus' birthplace.

We’ll continue by taking a drive through the 'new' city of Jerusalem to the Museum of Israel; home of the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest surviving version of the Bible.

We’ll then explore Mount of Olives and visit the Chapel of the Ascension where Jesus ascended into heaven forty days after his resurrection. We’ll walk to visit Pater Noster Church where Jesus taught His disciples the Lord’s Prayer (Matt.26:36-44).

We continue to an observation point that overlooks the Old City of Jerusalem.

We’ll walk the Palm Sunday route and descend to the Garden of Gethsemane. It’s a garden at the foot of the Mount of Olives that still contains trees with roots that date back to the time of Jesus. Near the Garden is our next stop, the Church of All Nations, built over the “Rock of Agony”. This is where Jesus prayed alone on the night of His arrest (Luke 22:29-53).

Throughout this time, we are invited to remain in prayer and to reflect on Christ’s agony that he experienced.

Afterwards, we go to Saint Ann’s Church and visit Pools of Bethesda where Jesus healed the crippled man (John 5:1-9). We continue to walk towards the Via Dolorosa. We will reflect upon the Stations of the Cross as we travel through the markets of the old city to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (Luke 23:26-33). This Sacred destination is the site of Calvary (Jesus’ crucifixion place) and, His tomb (Luke 23: 50-55).

At the end of our day we have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

* We would recommend modest dress for this excursion (no shorts or sleeveless shirts); while a head covering is required for visiting the holy places.

*You will also be required to take your passport with you on this excursion, so that you are allowed access into Bethlehem.

Day 3: Mount Zion – Cenacle - Yad Vashem 3

Following breakfast at our hotel, we go to Mount Zion. We’ll explore the Church of the Dormition. This church is where Mary, the Mother of Jesus, “Fell Asleep”.

We’ll continue to visit Cenacle, also known as the “Upper Room”, where Jesus and His disciples celebrated the Last Supper (Mark 14:12- 26).

We’ll then visit Saint Peter Gallicantu, this church commemorates where Jesus was examined and eventually imprisoned before the Council in Jerusalem. It also commemorates Peter’s Denial of Christ (John 18:15-18). Afterwards we go to visit Yad Vashem, Knesset and Menorah.

At the end of our day we have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Jericho -Masada - Qumran – Jordan Valley 4

Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll ride to Jericho, the oldest city in the world that was conquered by Joshua (Josh. 6: 1).

Our first stop is Masada, an ancient fortress in southern Israel’s Judean Desert. It's on a massive plateau overlooking the Dead Sea.

Our second stop is Qumran; it is made up of 2000 year old ruins from the days of the Second Temple and also the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were written and discovered (Ezekial 47:8-10).

We continue to visit Jesus’ baptismal site (Qasr El Yahud) on the Jordan Valley (Matthew 3:13-17).

We then visit the Sycamore Tree that recalls the incident in which the tax collector Zacchaeus, too short to see over the crowd, climbed a sycamore’s branches in order to see Jesus (Luke 18-19). 

Finally, our last stop, we’ll admire the view of Mount of Temptations; the hill in the Judean Desert where Jesus was tempted by the devil (Matthew 4:8).

We end our day with a drive to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5:  Mount Tabor – Nazareth - Basilica of Annunciation - Cana of Galilee 5

Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll ride to Jezreel Valley to visit the site of the Transfiguration, Mount Tabor (Matthew 17:1-50). At this site, we will have some time to reflect on Christ’s Humanity and Divinity. We continue to visit Nazareth; the home of Mary and Joseph.

Afterwards we visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, where the angel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary of her pregnancy.

Then we visit Cana of Galilee. This is where Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water to wine.  Lastly, we will enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee in a wooden boat.

We end our day with dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Tabgha - St Peter’s Primacy – Capernaum - Transfer to Border and Airport 6

Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll journey to Tabgha. In Tabgha is St. Peter’s Primacy where Jesus bestowed church leadership upon Peter (John 21:9).

We’ll continue to visit Capernaum, the launching place of Jesus’ ministry. In Capernaum, we’ll focus on the Synagogue of where Jesus taught (Mark 1:21-29), and gave His sermon on the Bread of Life.

Our driver will be waiting to transfer us to the Sheik Hussien Border for crossing into Amman, Jordan. And there we’ll meet our Jordanian driver who will transfer us to Queen Alia Airport for our flight to Dubai.

Once we arrive at the Dubai airport, the COMFITRAV representative will collect us with page boards and we’ll ride to our hotel.

We will have dinner and an overnight at the Dubai Hotel.

Day 7: Dubai Half Day City Tour - Dhow Cruise 7

Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll begin our half day Dubai City Tour. This is an ideal tour to discover, in a short time, most of Dubai. Our first stop is at the Dubai Museum. It showcases an impressive collection of information and artifacts about the history and life in Dubai and the UAE. 

We’ll then discover the beauty and smell of the Spice Souk following our entrance of the glittering Gold Souk. We’ll have time to bargain and shop.

We’ll continue to ride to the famous Jumeirah Mosque, cruising down the Jumeirah Beach Road and a stop at Burj Al Arab, where we’ll get the opportunity to take a souvenir picture.

From there, we’ll pass by the Madinat Souk and continue to the famous Palm Jumeirah (the manmade Island) and stop at the Atlantis Hotel.

After our stop, we’ll cruise back to the Sheikh Zayed Road; passing by the famous Mall of the Emirates. It is easily recognized by the unique shape of the attached indoor ski slope.

We’ll begin to approach downtown; home of Burj Khalifa: the highest tower in the world. Attached to Burj Khalifa is the world’s biggest Mall: The Dubai Mall.

After this stop we’ll have the opportunity to be dropped off at the hotel for rest.

In the evening we’ll ride to our Dhow Cruise Dinner; a two-hour cruise that begins after sunset.  Upon arrival we’ll experience a distinguished scene with unmatched hospitality and courteous services. We will enjoy the exquisite vistas of Deira and Bur Dubai as well as a spectrum of onboard activities including live music performances and traditional Tanura dance shows.

We’ll conclude our cruise and have an overnight at the Dubai hotel.

*Dubai & Abu Dhabi” city tours are provided every day except Friday. If that tour day falls on a Friday the city tour will be swapped with an alternative day of the same program

Day 8: Dubai Free Morning - Safari ride at Abu Dhabi Desert 8

Following breakfast at the hotel, we will have the morning at leisure. 

At noon we’ll check out from our Dubai hotel and ride to our Abu Dhabi hotel for check in.

After check in, we’ll travel in a 4x4 SUV to our safari adventure in the Abu Dhabi Desert. As the drive continues across the desert, we’ll stop to watch the beautiful sunset before reaching our campsite.

We’ll have the opportunity to a camel ride, sand boarding and experience henna tattoos.

We will later enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and shisha: Arabic water pipe. For entertainment we’ll have a belly dancing performance around the campfire.

At the end of the day we’ll have an overnight at the Abu Dhabi hotel.

Day 9: Full Day Abu Dhabi City tour 9

Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll proceed for a full day, Abu Dhabi city tour. We’ll begin with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque; the biggest mosque in the country. Massive and elegantly white, the mosque has a maximum capacity of more than 41,000 people. With its lavish furnishings of semi-precious stones as well as gold, marble, and other ornate crystals and ceramics, numerous local and foreign tourists bask in its splendid beauty.

We’ll venture to the scenic waterfront of Corniche. The Corniche is a recipient of the international eco-label Blue Flag status. This means its waters are clean and safe for swimming.

We’ll continue to visit villages and museums that highlight Abu Dhabi’s rich, local culture. Then we proceed to the much-anticipated destination, Heritage Village. This village features the simple lifestyle of the local people prior to the discovery of Abu Dhabi’s vast oil deposits.

After the Heritage Village we move on to the Emirates Palace; the city’s signature luxury hotel.

We’ll conclude our tour by passing by the YAS Island; home of Formula 1 and the iconic Ferrari Theme Park.

We then cross over the last bridge and have an overnight at the Abu Dhabi Hotel

*Guests are advised to dress modestly and appropriately for this day, especially for the Grand Mosque tour.

Day 10: Departure 10

Following breakfast at the hotel, we’ll check out of the Abu Dhabi hotel and drive to Dubai International Airport for final departure.

*Drop off to the airport is usually 3 hours prior of the flight departure time.
